The next Indy Southside Beekeepers Club meeting will be Tuesday, October 1st from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Franklin Township Civic League office, 8822 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46239.

    • we've been using Steve's and with the State Fair income and the generosity of Jay Kress and the others who donated items for the Silent Auction Vickie had the idea of buying one for the club. She checked several sites here are the ones that have a hive like Steve's. Prices including shipping or free shipping:

  • Jump Start Program - Bring your interested Friends and Family!
    • We're recruiting for the Jump Start candidates now.
    • In addition to the State BoI requirements candidates also have to commit to working at least one of our events next summer.

• Candy Board Day Nov 4
  • Replaces regular Club meeting
  • Pizza?
  • (the basic recipe is 10# sugar + 10 ounces water + 1 T Honey-B-Healthy or white vinegar, if you have another please bring a copy with you to the meeting.) We will need supplies and tools to make candy boards -10 pounds of sugar for each candy board, parchment paper, wax paper or tissue paper to line the box, buckets, heavy duty spoon or something to mix with, tarp or cardboard to put under the board to get it home without making a mess in your car.
