The next Indy Southside Beekeepers Club meeting will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Franklin Township Civic League office, 8822 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46239.
This month's agenda includes:
- Club Business
- Treasurers Report
- Old Settler’s Day Wanamaker Street Fair Sunday June 25, Booth # 174 - we still need at least 4 more volunteers to work the Street Fair. Please sign up if you are interested in selling honey. If you are volunteering or selling honey, please stay after the meeting for 10 minutes to coordinate. The booth will need 2 tables, a canopy, an observation hive and beekeeping equipment to demonstrate.

- Indiana State Fair booth - Wednesday August 9, 2023
- Southeastway Park Bug Fest - Sunday August 27, 2023
- Lighting the smoker - bring your smoker and favorite fuel and tips to share
- Video show and tell - if you haven't sent in your pictures, bring them on a thumb drive.

A couple of months ago Sam Dodd talked about using Irish Spring soap in your hive. His handout is attached and he will be present to answer any questions.
