The next Indy Southside Beekeepers Club meeting will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Franklin Township Civic League office, 8822 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46239.

- Treasurer's Report
- Indiana State Fair booth - Wednesday August 9, 2023 (see volunteer list below) will be distributing admission tickets and parking passes
- Southeastway Park Bug Fest - Sunday August 27, 2023 - 1-2 more volunteers would be helpful
- Airport Day at the Greenwood Airport - August 26, 2023 Indy South Greenwood Airport community day with activities, exhibits, and food. Free parking and admission. Attendees will see World War II aircraft, vehicles, and live reenactors.
- Show and Tell your beekeeping gadgets. Bring what you have made/engineered/designed to help with your beekeeping.
- August tasks in your beeyard - what should I be doing now?
- Irish Spring in the hive - is anyone using it? what is your experience?
- Sam Dodd has equipment for sale -(6) Top Hive Feeders sell at $20.00-@. Distributors don't make them anymore. They require Shallow 6 5/8" Boxes. I have (2) 6 5/8" frames that contain (7) boxes @ (never opened) $28.00 per carton.(6) round plastic 5 gallon containers to store your honey in. They cost me $30 to $35 but I will sell them for $20.00 @.The 1 1/2" Plastic Honey Gates you can order from DaDant for $13.50 @.
