The next Indy Southside Beekeepers Club meeting will be Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Franklin Township Civic League office, 8822 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46239.

- Treasurer's Report
- State Fair income report
- Ideas for Club purchases – refractometer, uncapping table/tote
- Candy Board Day at November meeting – (the basic recipe is 10# sugar + 10 ounces water + 1 T Honey-B-Healthy or white vinegar, if you have another please bring a copy with you to the meeting.) We will need supplies and tools to make candy boards -10 pounds of sugar for each candy board, parchment paper, wax paper or tissue paper to line the box, buckets, heavy duty spoon or something to mix with, tarp or cardboard to put under the board to get it home without making a mess in your car.
- Using a Refractometer – If you have one, please bring it; if you would like your honey checked, please bring a small sample.
- Dehydrating honey – please bring your favorite method for lowering the moisture content of your honey.
